Types of exercise according to their contributions to different types of fitness

The grouping of training depends on the impacts they have on the body of the individuals. There are different types of exercises which people tend to seriously focus on since they add a lot to the health of human beings. Doing all kinds of training has a significant impact because of the reduction of boredom and risk to injury.

Oxygen usage by the body is improved by a kind of exercise known as aerobic exercise (cardiovascular exercise). This type of exercise keeps various systems in the body like the lungs, heart and circulatory system healthy. Also, it improves the overall fitness and makes the body more flexible. Also, it improves the breathing rate since the muscles taking part in respiration are strengthened. Mixing both healthy balance diet and required training reduces overall weight loss of the body as well as disease reduction since the heavy weight of the body is a contributing element to several conditions like high blood pressure and stroke.

Anaerobic exercise is another type of exercise that plays a role in enhancing power as well as building the muscle mass of the body. Muscles that are trained under this category grow differently leading to better body functioning within a short period. Also, there is a high-intensity activity lasting up to roughly two minutes. Strength exercise is a form of anaerobic exercise involving the use of resistance to muscular contraction to improve body performance. Understrength exercise, the two standard methods are weight exercise and strength training. Another type is flexibility exercise that stretches the muscles and improves the body performances since it will no longer stay limber (Häuser, et al., 2010). Balance exercises, on the other hand, prevents falls. Falls is a common problem in older people, and it also improves body balance. All these different types of exercise play a significant role in the body of an individual although aerobic exercise outweighs other forms since its advantages and functions play much to the life of the participants.
