Discussion: Reduction of false identifications

I think that the five procedures stipulated on the Innocence Project website would effectively reduce false identification. The reason for my thought that the five procedures are effective is that they involve very strict measures meant to eliminate the weakness of human memory. False identification is caused by faulty memories. For instance, the introduction of fillers, where the subject must appear similar to them will help in minimizing the risk of misidentification.
