The demand for workers in human services is high because the need for different social intervention programs has heightened. Additionally, professionals working in the human services sector strive to provide the best services either local or nationally. Provision of human services is of significant value to everyone especially targeted to people who require extra help.
I am looking forward to pursuing a career in human services sector because this platform enables a person to develop multiple skills that are important. Some of these skills include counseling skills, management skills, understanding child development and human services administration, planning and organizational skills, oral communication skills and many others. Furthermore, tit has been my desire to assist others, and this platform will enable me to achieve my desires. Human services professional are dedicated to helping people to solve specific problems and all providing helpful strategies that will help them modify their behavior.

The most helpful portions of the class are learning to assist individuals and communities function effectively in the main domains of living. Helping others is a strong desire of any human service worker, and this is one of the major things that I practice daily. I am committed to assisting the elderly and individuals struggling with substance abuse. There are unique challenges that face the community, and I am happy to assist in any way possible. The human services class allows me to partake in finding answers for individuals who are disadvantaged.
Fortunately, I have not come across any least helpful portions of the class. Everything that I have learned in class has been of significance value, and every day I learn something new and interesting. The skills offered by human service professional are in demand, and I can’t wait to start working. Pursuing this degree has offered me with a unique opportunity to help people and find solutions to those who are vulnerable. Therefore, everything that I learn throughout the course will be important as I start my career later on. I look forward into learning critical dynamics such as poverty and social problems that have an impact on people behavior.
Some of the activities that have a huge impact on my life include developmental psychology or abnormal psychology because such topic enables me to prepare to work with people who might have any form of mental illness. By learning about human development and development enabled me to relate well to individuals suffering from different mental problems. One learns about signs and symptoms of such disorders as well as treatment methods. Consequently, with such knowledge a person experience greater understanding and empathy while working with individuals with psychological problems.
I have acquired counseling skills that I look forward into practicing in my daily life. Even though human services graduates do not necessarily receive sufficient training as to become certified counselors, we learn how to provide emotional support to clients. Human services degree programs offer students with chief counseling training and skills in crisis intervention. Therefore, these skills will enable me to make a difference in people’s lives particularly those with psychological problems. I am devoted to enhancing the quality of life by utilizing the interdisciplinary knowledge that I will acquire throughout the course.
