Introduction
Hook: The human life is such that it is a sacred entity that should be protected not only by religious doctrines but by the constitution of a country as well. No human being has the right or the authority to take the life of the other, no matter the circumstances involved. Back in the year 2012, the New York Times reported that there were 100 suicide and murder cases in Utah, which is higher more than the national average of American murder and suicide cases, but slightly lower than troubled states (Alpers, 2019). It is interesting to observe some of the factors associated with the troubling statistics of suicide and murder cases being witnessed. The insecurity in Utah is connected with the increased crime rates due to the crippled regulations of Gun Policy by the state and local governments.
Thesis: Although national and social campaigns have discouraged youth recruitment into criminal gangs, interests for a criminal life, and owning an illegal gun have remained popular to uninspired Utah youth, and unless the stakeholders involved put in the effort to curb this fetish and obsession, the public would still be susceptible to suicides and murders.

Poor education policing in Utah.
Transition: Given the problem of failing gun policy, it is crucial to build on the connection between this failure in the system to curb the rising number of illegal weapons acquisition and ownership, poor education and meth cooking.
Body
Illegal weapons in Utah: there is no denying the fact that unlawful gun ownership places at risk the general population of Utah, exposing them to careless handling of firearms.
Illegal firearms are emerging a severe problem in the United States. Desert states are the worst hit given the extensive areas, illicit trade of weapons to important cities, and Mexico and the drug problem to be visited later.
Statistics illustrate southern western states (Utah inclusive) were the worst hit by the problem. Street drugs supply chains are the fastest way to make illegal cash, given the rate of reports are relatively lower from the general public.
Although under the Second Amendment, citizens are allowed to keep firearms, Utah gun control restrict the purchase and use of weapons.
It is important therefore to look into precisely what the various levels of government involved are doing as far as passing gun laws are concerned.
Walker (2019) notes there are four-gun bills sponsored in the United States; they do include Lauren's Law that prohibits carrying of guns near public places such as schools.
As such, most criminal gangs buy weapons from the underground market, with Dark Web being a famous market zone.
Transition: Given the incapacitated regulation, the underground states of the gun market, and organized crime, the following can be learned to help Utah move forward with gun control and licensing;
There should be inadequate and desirable firearms tracking policy
It is critical to address the Challenges posed by the second and fourth amendment.
Utah is a highway of national criminal activities in the West, East, and South.
Meth cooking in Utah: drug activities play a very critical part in facilitating illegal gun acquisition and ownership in Utah.
Meth hit western South Western states first and hardest (Canady, 2019). It is much easier to cook Meth in Utah than import Cocaine from Colombia.
Meth has far lasting effects to the user as compared to Cocaine, as well as much cheaper.
The main problem was cartels fighting to control marketing channels.
However, the worst problem is that drug users would retort to criminal activities as a way of raising money to sustain the behavior.
These armed cartels often resort to violence. Stilson (2019) claims Utah meth problem remains undetected and has commonly been branded Happy Valley.
As early as 2004, the Utah Health Department had reported close to 107 meth labs; the number could be higher.
Transition : Based on the possible unknown statistics of meth cooking, distribution and sales, the following can be noted as per the failing gun policy.
Illegal weapons play a significant role in supporting the trade on meth.
Failing DEA and FBI pursuit efforts have led to the flourishing of Happy Valley Holiday
There is the poor direction of public policy on gun ownership and drugs control.
Poor education policing in Utah: the other factor that should be looked into is the role education plays in informing and guiding teenagers concerning the choices they make in life.
Although Utah has major national libraries the Marriott Library and Salt Lake City libraries, as well as significant Universities, such as the University of Utah, the standards of educations are still relatively weak.
Morality is still a significant question. Several young people are easily lured to a life of crime (ERIC, 1995), with promises of false social poor and never be broke again.
The journey of education and the possibility of failing exams is a significant setback crippling effort towards a morally based education policy.
As such, it is easy for established gangs to recruit young teenagers who carry weapons without their consent.
Transition: In summary, although effort for a morally based education policy is in place, teenagers are easily recruited into criminal gangs with hopes of money, power, and fame, and unless they are guided into investing in their future through studies, such teenagers will easily get lured into criminal activities.
Conclusion
Based on the interests of criminal life, the presence of methamphetamine, Utah gun policy will continue failing, as such hopes for an effective legal system are far-fetched. It is however noted the gun policy has been unable to resolve constant recruitments to criminal gangs, given the fact that the happy valley phenomena have accelerated meth supply chains in the city. It is, however, clear that the state lacks a morally based education policy. This then begs the question which gives way into a whole new debate on what role and approach should the State of Utah take in dealing with the menace. Should it continue with the current efforts of gun policy, or should it pair these efforts with the Meth problem?
