The talk that Carl Hart presents about the drug, especially in a global platform like this, is a highly recommendable one. Talking about drugs to most of the people and having a sensible conversation is rare, not only in America but nearly to the entire world. Walton postulates there is a lot of misinformation as well as fear in the outside world about drugs (2017). Despite the negative effect that drugs have when abused, there are several good reasons to moderately use proactive drugs.

The talk is full of lessons for any right-minded individual to listen to. Using drugs does not imply addiction. For instance, about 90% of the persons who consume illicit drugs are not addicts. These drugs are overpoweringly inoffensive and mild for any non-addict (Miller, Forcehimes & Zweben, 2019). The majority of these drug users are responsible men and women in society. They perform well in their jobs. They are also good citizens who pay their taxes. Furthermore, they care for their families. Others are exemplary leaders across the globe (Montgomery, 2019). All these are good attributes which no individual can dispute, one can even imitate. The primary lesson here is that people always consume drugs and remain to do so, therefore we should live with this fact. Pickard suggests that the issue is not the drug that people use, but the problem is how people use those drugs (2017). Therefore, all the clients should recognize the appropriate way of using the drug by obeying the drug laws and using the drugs correctly.

Indisputably, besides the negative impacts of drugs, one can benefit from proactive drugs. Appropriate use of drugs cannot alter the behavior of a person. However, irresponsible use of drugs is damaging.
