Children at adolescent tend to change their behaviors and act according to their emotions. If real intervention from parents and teachers are not emphasized, the teenager may turn to behave unethically. Research shows that people at adolescent will always look for alternatives to relieve their stress ( Van &Nowicka, 2013) . When the stressing factor is within the surrounding environment, the person will always create an adjustment behavior to adapt to the situation. However, parents have an obligation to ensure that children are behaving in the right manner to prevent bad character development.

In the case of Aiden’s timeline, I choose to analyze the period when the boy was 14 years of age and three years before the occurrence of the horrific attack performed by Aiden in class.During that time, the boy had become rude and uncooperative with the parents back at home. It reached a point when the mother could not warn him or give some advice to the boy sinceit was all in vain. Contrary to that, his father who was tough on him used to fight the boy hence forming a bond of hatred between them. Additionally, Aiden is a victim of bullying in school to the extent that the boy receives beatings from other schoolmates ( Aiden Carter Reverse Timeline , 2017) . Bringing together all the factors mentioned above, Aiden had no option but to develop a negative attitude towards both the school and home environment. There were no conducive grounds for the boy to change the bad behaviors and embrace positivism. At that point, parents intervention was needed most that any other help that could come from peers and teachers in school.

Parental guidance in the life of a child is imperative in shaping the future behavior of the kid ( Noller& Callan, 2015) . Aiden parents needed to provide supportive care in during the period to prevent things from taking a different course. Since they choose not to give Aiden parental love, the boy could easily conclude that the degree of hatred in among family members is high. That made it impossible for the parents to find out what was affecting Aiden for them to provide a solution. The kind of intervention presented by the father in video acted as a catalyst to the outcomes at 17 years of age. Arguably, beating up a child does not always work as a solution to change one’s character. Instead, counseling, as well as guidance, may work best when the child is at the stage of adolescence. That could be achieved if the parents to Aiden were patient enough to extend their love to the boy. Providing encouragement and regular support would have helped him overcome the challenges experienced in school. The fact that nobody was willing to understand what Aiden was going through, the developmental changes at adolescence were severe enough to entice him involve in such terror activities.

Information gathered from the clip proves that Aiden was a living a stressful life both at home and in school. Therefore, teachers and parents are the primary stakeholders who would provide intervention to make the boy have a good character. The mathematics teacher is shown in the scene asking a question to Aiden while he is busy drawing other objects( Aiden Carter Reverse Timeline , 2017) . That means his concentration in class was minimal and that would result in a bad performance in school. The teacher was supposed to apply some strategies that would keep Aiden attentive in a class all the time to help him. That may call for front positioning of the boy and regular involvement in class discussions. By so doing, he ought to stop thinking of other things that were nonbeneficial to his studies. On the other hand, parents as the other group of stakeholders had a duty to counsel the boy even if it means taking him to a therapist. When a change in behavior is noticed, an action is needed immediately to avoid the outcomes of immorality. Children at that stage will always tend to be moved by changes in their bodies making them do things out of anxiety and peer pressure. However, early intervention from parents and mentors appear to be helpful in shaping the behavior of the child.

To summarize, aggressiveness and violence in children at adolescence are a common phenomenon that requires parents provide guidance on how to control them. There are numerous strategies devised of dealing with young adults in an attempt to make them understand the changes they undergo and what to expect. In most cases, parents are unable to have a cohesive communication with their children due to the fear of breaking the parental bond. However, it is recommendable for a parent to intervene in the adolescence journey of a child to offer moral support that is essential to overcome challenges associated with that stage of growth. Ultimately, every person who is involved in the development cycle of children is responsible for trimming their behaviors of ensuring that they become dignified individuals in the society.
