There are four basic components of risk management: disaster preparation and recovery plan, workplace safety and health, workplace and worker security, and employee health and wellness promotion. Health involves emotional, mental, and physical wellbeing of an individual whereas safety is a condition of being protected from an occurrence of an unlikely danger ( Mathis et al, 2015 ). Security consists of taking care and protecting employees and facilities available in the organization. Employees who experience job-related illnesses or injuries are provided with workers' compensation coverage, which is offered by their employers ( Mathis et al, 2015). There are limitations on the type of work that young employees can perform especially those below 18 years as outlined in the Fair Labour Standards Acts (FLSA). The Occupation Safety and Health Act OSHA outlines that it the employer's obligation to provide a healthy and safe working condition for their employers. In addition, OSHA has come up with safety standards that provide a guide to the personal protective equipment and hazard communication. The standards require employees to have a record of injuries and illness experienced by workers while on duty. Establishing safety measures for employees and developing safety policies ensures that workers have a harmonic and conducive environment to work in ( Mathis et al, 2015) .
Employers can consider the health of the employees at different levels, which would ensure their effective increase in their productivity. Substance abuse such as smoking at work is a health issue, which should be addressed since they raise concerns about the productivity of an individual and the organization as a whole. Creating and supporting wellness groups for employees with health issues would help in advancing the production of the employees since they would feel appreciated and would gather support and confidence from fellow employees.

Security can be enhanced in the organization's facilities such as computers to ensure a secure workplace through protection from hacking, which is increasing at an overwhelming rate. Security can also be enhanced through conducting of security audits and limiting access to computer systems ( Mathis et al, 2015) .
