Robert Menedez and Cory Booker are New Jersey State Senators serving in different committees and performing various duties. Frank Pallone Jr. is a House Representative from New Jersey on Democratic ticket. This paper investigates some of the functions these three execute, the bills they have sponsored, and the committees they serve.
Frank Pallone Jr.
Pallone was elected in the house for the first time in 1988 as a representative of the third Congressional District of New Jersey. He has since served in various house committees. The latest one was in 2019 when he chaired the Energy and Commerce Committee. His accomplishments in the committee were notable in January 2019 when his biography in legislation was said to have focused on protecting and restoring the environmental resources and ensuring that health care can be accessed and afforded by everyone (GovTrack, 2021). Therefore, Pallone is often regarded as one of the most reliable Democratic voters. The Democratic Party in Congress often depends on his vote because he is more reliable. Pallone had a lot of delegations during the Democratic National Convention of 2016 from New Jersey. He firmly offered his support to Hillary Clinton during the Democratic nominations.
