Art is known to be the use of creativity and imagination by human beings in a way that is appealing to the audiences. Photographing and painting are one of the examples of art that is used to attract readers through appealing sights and emotions. Through a picture or a painting, one can depict emotions and beauty which tend to attract individuals’ attention. Art is seen to involve various aspects such as painting on certain surfaces, drawing sculptures which were mainly applied as a symbol of a particular lifestyle and in sometimes as a ritual in some American society. Art can also be used as a mirror to reflect what is happening in the community. It gives an image of what the society is all about or even a reflection of a particular individual according to their image (Burns, 1996).
There is the aspect in which it shows how one feels, thinks, behaves, culture, ritual and ideas of a society or an individual. In American worship places, the buildings are designed in a way that makes one face up to overlook or surpass their troubles faced daily. During the gilded age, it was a time where economic growth was taking place, and the United States was ahead of Britain due to the increase in industrialization level. The wealthy in the country proved their taste and preference through having unique interior decorations in their buildings. It was a way of showing their taste and class, therefore, attracting people of the same class to the buildings. Due to such an audience the artists who paint tend to make it as real as possible in the look while the writers ensured that they showed life at its best and worse point of view. Wealthy individuals liked their images and memories captured through portraits that were painted (Burns, 1996).

Art has a great impact in the context of social justice. It has both shaped and challenged America during the era of gilded. There were instances where Louis Comfort Tiffany specialized in stained through the combining of glass colors, different types of shells and stones to come up with a beautiful piece that was used in homes. Many were impressed with his work which was considered attractive and appealing to audiences especially the wealthy. The work was viewed as an art of quality and was preferred for many interior decorations. Due to the fabulous creation is done by Louis, he was then assigned to decorate the interior of White House to give it an appealing appearance to all that visit. Candace Wheeler is another artist that is known for the expertise of weaving. The work done on quality and therefore attracted many wealthy Americans due to the perfectly weaved items. Most of the items were mainly used in the furnishing of homes especially the floor and also as chandeliers. They were attractive when used in homes and brought about a classy look to the house, therefore, catching the attention of many wealthy audiences (Burns, 1996).
Art also involves poets who have also impacted the social justice of the American society. Maria Martinez recognizes the role played by poets especially in influencing the political identity of the society and communities in the country (Burns, 1996). Through their work, it was possible to understand the stand of many in the society for they used the platform to talk about what the society thinks about certain matters. It was used as a platform for voicing out their opinions without having a confrontation. They were also known to use their work as a way to communicate with politicians expressing how they view the spending of public funds. Through this, they were able to solve various problems in the American society especially the urban areas (Burns, 1996).
Diversity is something that is being experienced in the American culture. It is where people are going outside the norms and coming up with unique aspects of perspectives. In art, diversity has had a significant impact on them. Many artists are choosing to come out from their comfort zone and come up with creative things. Diversity means that it does not aim at pleasing everyone but only those that understand and relate to the unique piece of art. It is experienced in the country due to the many cultures that are found in the society. America is a country that has accommodated many from different countries and cultures (Trachtenberg, 2007). It is through this people that the state is adopting new cultures and through that residents are finding new ways of expressing their art from the eyes of the different cultures. Technology is also another factor that has had a great impact, therefore, bringing up diversity. Previously during the gilded age, technology was not as developed, and therefore the different forms of presenting any art were less developed. If it was music, photographs or even paintings, their modes of the presentation was not as appealing as the current century (Trachtenberg, 2007).
Through technology, art has found a way of presenting certain aspects in a more attractive and realistic way. Through the last century, there have found better modes of creating art which has made it more attractive to the audience and having an impact on their emotional reactions (Trachtenberg, 2007). Currently many can feel the art as being real. An example is the current 3D mode of presentation where a piece of art looks real as if it is happening right before one’s eyes. The technology has been used in visual arts and paintings with other opportunities coming up to embrace technology in art. The change in art has been significant through the years, and it has had an enormous impact in the way it is making a difference in the society. Due to diversity the message intended to be passed is reaching a large community and having a greater impact (Trachtenberg, 2007).
Art currently is a form of expression, and many have begun to embrace it in the modern society. As discussed earlier, the American Society is diverse and therefore made up of different people from diverse communities. Art has been used to communicate to the diverse society making them understand an individual message being passed across. In America, people tend to have the same perspective or idea, but due to the mixed cultures, they have different ways of expressing the ideas. Art has, therefore, come up with the means to communicate to the different cultures messages and making them understand (Smith, 1993). There is also the aspect of technology. As discussed earlier, technology has had a great impact in art. Due to technology, art has found more realistic ways of passing across certain messages. Currently, technology has also made it possible for many around a country of even a continent to get the message faster (Smith, 1993).
Previously the modes of communication were slow but in the modern era, due to technology, information is sent very quickly, and therefore a piece of art reaches many in a very short time. Due to this factor, it is advisable that artists take advantage of the technology and use it pass empowering messages to make the society a better place. As much as technology has had a positive impact in art, it has also helped lead to the spread of hooliganism. Rather than encouraging such vices, it is best that they influence them in a positive manner to attract a larger audience (Smith, 1993).
