Furthermore, many more like Ruth Bader Ginsburg effected policies that have been used internationally to prevent gender disparity issues. Conversely, through advocates, awareness programs, and empowerment talks, social workers can pursue and integrate gender equality in society today. The United States has been evidenced to engage in advocacies of gender equality and women's rights in war-related zones. According to Connah, creating gender awareness programs in communities helps overcome patriarchal biases (2020).
In conclusion, the document articulates the responsibility of social work professionals to pursue gender equality as curtailed to their roles. Meanwhile, out of three, one woman is subjected to inequality cases (Lennox, 2021) . Addressing gender issues requires a community-based approach and the support of social work professionals (Behounek, 2020, p.38). In my view, social work has great potential in advocating for gender equality across the globe. The social work department must adhere to research that insinuates the development of tools necessary for mainstreaming gender programs (Lennox, 2021). Even though the pace of achieving total gender equality is slow, social work professionals have all the resources to address the issues in the global society.
