Scholar-Practitioner in Training course heightened my knowledge base since it expresses ideal professional excellence grounded in research and theory. The course is educative and ensures that scholar-practitioners assess and reflect their work's impact and function as competent and ethical specialists in providing psychological services. As a clinical mental health therapist and future clinical counseling psychologist, this course has helped me differentiate diagnoses between neurological disorders and behavioral disorders. Also, the course has made me work in my scope of practice while making appropriate referrals for what is outside my scope of practice.

Consciousness is one area that I wish to explore further because I believe that there is a broad underlying intuition about it. According to Reggia et al. (2019) , philosophers and psychologists have struggled to understand the essential properties and general nature of consciousness. The main issues of concern are whether consciousness can be explained mechanically or non-human consciousness exists. The mind-body problem is the principal delinquent surrounding human consciousness. The mind-body problem depicts how mental experiences arise from a physical entity ( Wendt, 2018 ). I will explore the central issues of concern and determine why consciousness has become a vital research topic in neuroscience and psychology.

Subconscious is also another area I am interested in exploring further. Many psychological scientists believe that the subconscious is the shadow of consciousness despite substantial evidence differentiating it ( Hu & Qiu, 2018 ). Subconscious is equated with subliminal, which restricts the contemporary view of it. Cognitive and social psychology have approached the subconscious from different angles ( Rothkirch & Hesselmann, 2017 ). I wish to explore the cognitive and social approaches of the subconscious and determine their effect on human behavior. I will explore how the subconscious mind influences human lifestyles, thinking, and decision-making. For instance, I will explore how the subconscious mind affects human behavior in education and its role in decision-making.
