Procrastination in the handling of the classroom and individual assignments in college is arguably one of the most significant stress factors I have almost always experienced in my college life. As is revealed in most studies on time management lags, the failure to meet deadlines in a timely and effective manner is one of the most significant stress factors in contemporary workplaces. Such is the case in schooling where the incapacity to meet deadlines for undertaking individual and assigned readings is common. It includes the untimely submission of assignments due to procrastination behavior, which has always hampered my college grades. As a way of revamping productivity, taming procrastination, and the incapacity to meet deadlines in a timely way is arguably the next go-to thing. The graph below shows how setting a scale of preferences on various strategies of meeting deadlines conveniently is going to underscore behavior modification and change in my college life. Data on how to go about it was gathered via a literature review on appropriate time management and meeting deadlines.
Graph A reveals 'mean errors' detected in, B shows delays experienced in submissions, and C reveals earnings or rewards compared across the three conditions. It is, nevertheless, crucial to note that error bars reflect standard errors, whereas delays are measured in terms of days and earnings or rewards in dollar form. Results manifested in the graph show that evenly-spaced deadlines have the propensity for leading to the best outcomes in all the areas under investigation. This implies that resorting to better deadline management and a less stressful time management trajectory works best whenever a large task is significantly broken down into smaller but easy-to-tackle tasks. Such action should then be followed up with the setting up of specially-designed deadlines for each specific task rather than having one deadline, which may be unrealistic to fulfill effectively. Graph 'A' is, therefore, a presentational manifestation of the desired behavior modification on appropriate deadline and time management.
