Late Medieval

The medieval times also referred to as the Middle Age, was an extended period that covered from 500 AD to 1500AD. It was a 1000-year span of time. The series of event in this season brought years of European growth and its prosperity to a halt. The major crises in this timeframe led to weekly changes in religious mayhems, political wars, and collapse in population. The art was one of the significant materials to this movement; there was the Gothic art which evolved more towards a more natural and secular style. The Catholic Church was one of the most significant powerful institutions in the medieval times. Kings and queens derived most power from church alliances. Similarly, there was a rise in Islamic region, art, and architecture; this formed the basis of the movement. The social changes in the economy led to the increase in trading activities and the emergence of trade cities; this resulted in tensions in medieval society. The strains permeated the boundaries of gender, ethnicity, region and class. There was the establishment of political organizations and laws to balance between the rural and urban class interacting.  Additionally, the movement led to the development of political systems. In the midst of the growth in the economy and the soil turmoil, the medieval society saw the stabilization of the political boundaries in Europe and growth in the central government. The government was crucial in a building of economic strength and governing trade domains. Finally, the era was characterized by religious beliefs, they were developed based on the creative tensions and politics in the medieval society; this led to the development of new ideas such as the debate over faith. It resulted in the rise of religious orders and formation of spirituality. In this case, there was a substantial influence of Christianity, Jewish and Muslim regions during this period. In conclusion, the medieval period, which lasted for an extended period, witnessed a series of event that led to major growth in Europe. The medieval society was subjected to art and region; this resulted in rising in area and art during the period. The movement emergence was greatly influenced by political, social and religious factors during that period.
