I Socrates, I would like people in modern American to understand my definition of a man as a species that creates ideas. I tend to believe that human being thrives on ideas and live by their wits and not their brute strength. Often, people ask me whether the kind of ideas that men develop a sensible or silly. My response has always been that human beings are creatures of deliberate thoughts. Therefore, they always focus on developing the best ideas through their thoughts, cognition, as well as self-awareness. Additionally, people need to understand that human beings always create ideas that are full of wisdom hence making their lives better.
In my case, I do not recognize the technological innovation and the sensory perspective of humanity. Instead, I am always focused on the cognitive ideas that bring people closer to freedom, justice, truth, and beauty. I want people to understand that external senses do not necessarily bring humanity to the fact. People should always be concerned about the body and not the soul. Technically, the human body does not define humanity. I believe that a human being is determined by the appetite and desire for food, wealth, material things, and comfort, which interfere with the ability of a man to develop humanity to the fullest. It is also essential for modern Americans to know that my definition of man is that they are limited, thus being incapable of attaining absolute truth.
