New York city is a large city with a good environment and it is also one of the cultural, and commercial centers of the world (Lankevich, 2019) . I would love to teach in the city as I would be able to interact with a variety of cultures as I love diversity. I am looking for a school community where the parties involved are friendly and cooperative. I am mostly interested in teaching in the special needs schools since I like helping the children with special needs feel accepted in the society and also make a life for themselves and be self-reliant via education. They need education as it would aid them to overcome all social and economic issues (Sibuyi, 2016) . I have also worked in special needs schools before where I was teaching them Spanish.
I have been a teacher for about five years handling all kinds of students and I bring with me a wealth of experience from those years of work. I am well versed when it comes to technology and interaction skills. My skills in interaction would make it easy for me to understand the problems facing the students in order to help them so as to boost their overall performance (Ukessays, 2019) . Technology is the application of something one knows practically (Merriam-Webster, 2019) . This practical application goes a long way in helping improve a student’s general performance.

For the few years I have been an educator I learnt that one can never be really perfect so I had to get ways of improving myself to become a much better teacher each day. In order to improve I plan to be a better listener and a nice student, and also to be able to admit whenever I am wrong and I do not know something (Education.org, 2012) .
In addition, I am also a qualified good physical education teacher and I can also do that for the students which is useful also to bond with the students. I also did a little bit of psychology in my college which will be useful in aiding to help the students’ with issues facing them.
