Stress is regarded as a state of emotional or mental strain or tension that comes as a result of demanding or adverse circumstances. However, as humans, we are capable of learning how to best handle stress and stay healthy in the process by exercising at least three times a week as exercise helps the body in producing endorphins that makes people feel good. Besides, we can as well learn in being more stress resistant and hopefully healthier by identifying our stressors and therefore trying hard to avoid them as much as possible. This is because there are different factors that can initiate stress including poor working environment, health concerns, or even bad relationships (Mihaela, 2015). Finally, I think that other people apply these principles to avoid stress because it naturally works for them, while other do not apply them as they do not help them in relieving themselves from their stress situations.
Additionally, the information learned concerning stress can help me in being more stress-free as it would encourage me in having a positive attitude that would assist me in being ahead when faced with daily stresses. It implies that I would perceive these stresses as a learning experience as well as remaining objective in almost all of my life situations. Personally, I have happened to see examples of people who have allowed stress to overcome their lives. For instance, my friend John was always stressed up because their parents divorced, and this made him to involve in substance and drug abuse that up to date had a detrimental effect on his health. Finally, after learning the stress effects, I would change by getting other people involved in my situation including spouse, parents, friends, coworkers, and children (Barbee, 2014). Importantly, they would assist me in identifying stressful situations before they actually overpower me.
