Many Americans are facing healthcare challenges, for example, 68 percent children, and adolescent are obsessed which can contribute to other diseases like stroke, heart diseases, and diabetes. It is also in the public domain that majority of the American Citizens are plagued with the challenge of affording decent healthcare access due to the high rates charged by the health insurance companies. The debate has also been focusing on medical coverage, insurance reform, and decreasing medical costs. The debate over health care reform was signed by President Barack Obama into law on March 2010; as a final and ultimate solution to the healthcare menace that has been ridden the country for decades. The act was to ensure Americans receive access to affordable and quality healthcare, irrespective of their social and economic status. They were meant to get equitable healthcare for all citizens alike.

The primary solution projected in this Obama care health reform is empowering non- physician’s medical profession which is the most preferred since it enables nurses, midwives, chiropractors and physician assistants have more exceptional ability to treat patients (Donova, Moone & Smith, 2009). The other solution is making Health Insurance personal and portable; this makes the health care system more efficient than moving away from a system dominated by the employer. According to Barr (2016), there is no logical reason for making a person receive health insurance through their job since other guarantees are not that way. The reform on the portability of the health insurance cover was introduced to enable the extension of the health provider to all the citizens and their dependence indiscriminately.

The federal government has three branches: the executive, judicial and the legislative. The executive branch carries out and enforces laws; it includes the president, administrative departments, boards, commissions, and committees. The judicial branch involves the federal courts and organizations that support them. The legislative branch consists of Congress, the senate, house of representative and agencies that help Congress. All these departments and levels of government are to work in unison to bring a uniform and the meaningful health reform and service to all citizens.
