Following the September 11 terrorist attack on United States soil, Lieutenant General Hughes explains in a statement that individual rights have to be abridged, and the societal conditions are to be changed from the normal values and traditions. These human rights violations have changed the lives of many citizens in the United States by causing serious human rights abuse.
