Scientists have tried to eliminate negative perceptions regarding Anthropomorphism. These perceptions led to misunderstanding of biological processes about natural world. Moreover, they further led to inappropriate behaviors towards animals by human beings. For example trying to adopt a wild animal as a pet or even misunderstanding their actions. In fact, the depiction of animals in the entertainments of children is likely to prove this misinterpretation of animals by human beings. However, the people’s representation in the electronic content concerning animals is likely to enhance the tendency towards Anthropomorphism in the natural world; therefore I support the idea of Anthropomorphism so long as it is done in a proper manner likely to maintain the dignity of the animals.
However, it is evident that some animals resemble human beings as compared to others. A typical example is when a monkey gives older ones chance to feed on the food she could be the one to eat. This is a typical human behavior showing that monkeys are likely to be closer to people as compared to other animals. Another example has been established scientifically by observing a chimpanzee’s ability to plan ahead and hold grudges just the same way human beings does. Anthropomorphism can, therefore, show an extension of human love and compassion to the animals that express features of a man (Keller, M 2011). In fact, Anthropomorphism is good since everyone is just free to care for animals though human beings should not get confused and start thinking animals shall even one day take care of them. The way children cast a deep love and compassion can help everyone to develop an instinct, thus which is very useful to us. So it is crucial to encourage Anthropomorphism in the world of today. The adults, unlike children, are still holding a view that these animals are not likely to keep the feelings they ascribe to.

Moreover, people should note that it is not only primates that resemble human beings, but science has established that even elephants sacrifice their welfare for the good of their children and they also mourn for their family members, a character trait which resembles the one for human beings. Furthermore, even the young elephants that have lost their parents due to poaching also show symptoms of post-trauma by trumpeting loudly and uniquely during night and day time. Another scientific proof is the mapping of brains of different animals which have shown similar neurons like the ones of the human beings. This is the part of the brain that is responsible for social information and empathy (National Geographic 2008). Anyone who is willing to ascertain that animals also possess similar feelings like him is allowed to accept this belief. However, this idea is not easy to determine except in primates since they exhibit a very close behavior of human beings as compared to other animals. They do this by suggesting complex emotions and other similarities like bonding to life, a behavior shown in people. It is evident that every human being is an animal unless you would like to engage scientists in a furious debate.
It is invalid to argue that animals do not possess thoughts and emotions just the same way a person would argue that animals resemble human beings 100%. Nevertheless, sneering at Anthropomorphism risks would tamper with one’s sympathy towards animals leading to their elimination just like during the dark times of dinosaurs. According to De Waal, human beings have escaped from the challenges of biology (De Waal, F 2009). This is because people have put a lot of considerations in biology which has helped them in ascertaining the differences that exist between them and animals based on behaviors and social emotions. The animals that can express empathy and act reciprocally try to avoid conflicts with each other, a behavior which is also seen in human beings. Nevertheless, sometimes people get forced by biology to an extent of forming certain physical features regarding physiology which is parallel to the ones for animals.
However, it is indeed good to note that human beings are still part of the evolutionary process. They still possess significant influences on these evolutionary processes about animals. The primatologist can sometimes be able to predict the behavior of primates during some situations. This is just the same way a human being can predict the behavior of the other. The primatologists are also able to respond accurately to the baboons and Gorillas. The majority of primates can learn and invent since they have a social memory just like human beings. It is good to picture out the lives of primates as this shall further help you in understanding the concept of baboon terms without fearing anthropomorphism (Keller, M., 2011). The apes also possess large brains and complicated social lives. Another evidence of the resemblance of man and animals is about wolves’ lives since they have structured families. However, this can also provide proof that animals are not same in all ways since some do not live in structured families the same way wolves do. In fact, the idea that a kangaroo can carry the other in case of danger is also a proof that animals behave like human beings.
