3D coaching has three dimensions, which capture on essential things. The first dimension focuses on the strength, power, speed, quickness, tactics, technique and repetition (Duke, 2014). The second dimension deals with motivation, confidence and goal setting. Lastly, the third dimension checks on character, identity, self-worth and purpose. To me, the most essential benefit that applies to the 3 dimensional coaching styles is goal setting. Application of goal setting in team work is very effective since it creates the unity and motivation to work.
Goal setting involves the development of an action plan that is planned to motivate and guide a group of people to work and meet the goals (Prince, Burns, & Winsor, 2015). Thus, I would really love this benefit to be manifested in my program. In order to ensure success within an organization, setting of goals is essential since goals are the blueprint of any activity. The steps to define goal setting process include identifying the need, find the congruence, develop a blue print and draw up a plan of action. These objective settings determine the period a certain activity will take to be accomplished. Also, goal setting ensures easy management within the organization, and effective coordination of the employees.

Goal setting uses a criteria such as SMART criteria and SWOT analysis in the accomplishment of activities (McEwan, Harden, Zumbo, Sylvester, & Beauchamp, 2016). Additionally, it gives focus on the essential things, and provides direction on ways to complete a task. With goal setting, the team members are able to focus on the essential items and plan on ways to achieve them (Pongrácz & Sipos, 2017). Objectives in every program are essential since it gives the focus, vision and mission of the activity. Moreover, goal setting creates confidence, motivation, and gives people a life direction and ways to approach different aspects.
