Formulating of research questions is critical in getting firsthand information that is helpful to the research. The information needs to be factual and addressing the key issues in discussion. In the case above, it is a discussion of undetected rape that is seen to occur in the society. It is a traumatizing experience and therefore requires strategy to help a victim to open up. For it to be identified, it is paramount that the researcher comes up with an active list of research questions. They are to ease the respondent on the issues and how to answer them (Lisak, 1994).

Repeat Rape and Multiple Offending among Undetected Rapists is an article by David Lisak and Paul Miller. The research is intended to understand the probability of rape offenders to repeat their actions again. It is to understand the psychological factors leading to such a scenario. Questions used would mainly aim at identifying the trigger of a repeat of such an act. Their background is also critical as seen in the results, those that have undergone physical abuse during growth tend to have such habits. Once they are rehabilitated, there is a tendency of repeating the act due to factors that trigger such an action (Lisak & Miller, 2002).

The psychological impact of sexual abuse: Content analysis of interviews with male survivors is an article that is written by David Lisak. He talks about the impact sexual assault has presented especially in the male community. As seen it is a controlled interview where he uses twenty-six men to be interviewed. The research intended to tackle the different emotions that each possess trying to find out which are similar. Research questions, in this case, are profound and therefore the respondents should be willing to confide with the researcher. Questions in the interview need to be consoling making the interviewee comfortable to answer (Lisak, 1994).
