Political stability is one of the greatest things a country can have and brag about. This is because it encourages a number of enterprises and also investments and tourism among others. This will later help in increasing the revenue collected by the government. There are certain political cultures which are not that encouraging. This may result in political instability. Political culture is believed to be the set of practices and attitudes an individual has which is responsible for shaping that people's behavior in politics. It encompasses political myths, ideas, moral judgments, and beliefs about the things shaping a great society. On the other hand, there is the alternative politics which is usually based on the "do-it-yourself" approach. The citizens always adopt this approach in order to address whatever dissatisfaction they have with their government services. Therefore alternative politics turns out to be the best option if the government fails in delivering its services. This thus makes it possible for problems to be solved informally and Israel provides the best case for understanding how the informal approach can effectively work.
The government has a number of services it has to deliver, the first being well-furnished health care system to its citizens. This will make sure that the citizens' health conditions are addressed. The Israeli government most definitely failed to provide these services because people opted for the black market health services (Cohen, 2013). The payments to the black market are in efforts of the clients to get services which are not provided by the government through the semi-illegal and legal channels. With this, the economy will not be that stable since there will be no enough revenue collected. Besides the health care payments in black markets are corrupting thus considered to be a shadowed economy (Cohen, 2013). Moreover, many scholars see this issue as a part which is integral to the health care system of Israel, thus making them great exemplars of the so-called alternative politics.

Also, there has been lots of corruption going all through the country, which may end up crumbling the country’s economy. There have been a number of indications of informal payments in various occasions in health institutions for medical services. What complicates it is that the payments are made in a very circuitous and indirect ways. For instance, the public health services suppliers may be paid immediately or indirectly. When they are not paid after delivering their services, they will get paid later in the future, or indirectly where they will receive free services in another area (Cohen, 2013). Furthermore, those who are in a close relation with the ones in power receive preferential services, health care being one of them (Cohen, 2013). This led to the rise of the term “ protektsia” which means receiving preferential health services/treatment from close members of your social circle or family (Cohen, 8).
Another thing is that alternative politics has been taken up to the participation in the policy through the Judiciary. By the use of Hirschman's (1970) “exit, voice and loyalty” model a number of things were achieved (Ben-Porat & Mizrahi, 2005). It is arguable that in the attempts of creating an alternative decisions policy, several groups appealed to the Israeli Supreme Court. This approach was adopted as a part of the quasi-exit strategy with a little faith in the other areas of politics participation (Cohen, 2013). Later the high court of Israel partnered with others in the application of the alternative channels in the advancement of the political and organizational interests. Demonstrating how dissatisfied the groups were with the decisions of the administration would table their pledges to the High Court. In the politicians started considering possible positions and attitudes in any processes of making policies in the Supreme Court (Cohen, 2013).
Alternative politics stands out to have the best solutions in case of a problem. Its effects are of great value to the nation. Even if it may take long before the government sees something is wrong, it still stands out to be a great thing. More so alternative politics may help to curb misconducts in the government and also corruption. Therefore, it remains the best option for citizens to pass out their voices.
