Having been chosen to give a speech today, I would like to support Federalists side of government. Ladies and gentlemen, as you all know the powers of the Federal government have expanded considerably since the civil war erupted in our nation. As we seek your support today to be elected into office in the forthcoming elections, we're looking for your help because we have got a good plan for you. Among our agenda for the citizens of these liberal states, we would champion for the scrapping of the Articles of Confederation which have become obsolete due to the extended period it has been in existence.
We all know that this Article of Confederation was the first constitution in our land. The items contained in that Confederation resulted into what can be considered a loose confederation of states and a weaker central government which has fewer powers to serve its mandate and probably that could be the source of all these problems that we are facing today as the citizens of this nation. My appeal to you is to embrace change you must vote in this government ( Nedelsky, et al . 1982).

We also like to state it to state it categorically that we would advocate for a constitutional convention during our time in office. This would mean well to our nation, and consequently, your living standards will improve tremendously. I would like to state it here that our new system of government would be favour equal but divided system composed of the legislature, the executive and the judiciary (Pritchett, 1984).
Our government would be based on an active system whereby all the decisions are checked and balanced. No arm of government would make decisions on its own without involving the other for instance the legislature would be mandated to make laws while the president has a right to veto these laws. Whereas the president can nominate judges, they must be vetted and approved by the Congress. According to Nedelsky, et al . (1982), t he highest court in the land, which is the Supreme Court, has the power to consider invalid some of the laws that the Congress may approve.
If given the mandate we would consider having a single Chief Executive who would be the President of the Republic. He would rule all the nations which form our state. Together with other arms of the government; the legislature and the judiciary the government shall be run smoothly unlike our opponents who seek to have direct representation of the citizens and to make it the power of the government which to me would not serve you best. We would make service delivery to the citizens of the nation’s forming our state priority.
As a society, we believe that the constitution protects all the citizens equally regardless of who you are in the government. The law which we champion for would be fair to every citizen, and nobody will not just wake up one day and make laws which do not favour or serve the interests of the ordinary people. Unlike the Anti-federalists who are demanding for a separate bill of rights for its citizens we are strong, and we mean it that let the constitution that we champion for serve all the citizens equally as asserted by Break (1980).
The political divide would lead to two party systems where only two major political parties would rule our nations. One of the political parties would have the majority in the legislature while the other would form the opposition party. It is important to that note that this political divide would be as a result of ideological difference on how the points I had stated earlier are perceived and understood ( Nedelsky, et al . 1982). Those who support the Federal system would be the Federalist while those who are of the contrary opinion would be the Democratic.
As I conclude my speech today, I would urge to come out in large numbers so that you vote that system which favours and that which will champion for your challenges. Have a blessed day and know that the choices will ultimately have consequences on us. Thank you.
