Fifth-wave feminism is a topic that has been recently proposed in the society by the female society. There are those that consider the previous fourth-wave feminism was not clearly stated and the fifth wave is following the same trend. Such trends are making any waves of feminism less relevant in the society. A feminist known as Caitlin Moran in her literature “How to be a woman”, she talks about the new fifth wave and how it will be different from the previous waves. She believes that it will be contrary to what the modern woman believes and it will bring about a different understanding of being a woman (Moran, 2013).
The fifth wave will encourage many women to stand up as leaders in the society. Leadership will encourage those that have always been interested in participating in politics and it will help develop the female society. Due to the thirst for leadership among the women in the society, it is only fair that the government to make some changes in the laws regarding gender equality. The government should ensure that they challenge the number of female representatives in congress and every organization. Such a platform will give an opportunity to the women to grow and become better people in the society (Moran, 2013).

The main issues that women tend to bring to the surface are the lack of opportunities that are equal to the male society. It is seen that in most cases women are not trusted in some duties and responsibilities. The main reason is because they are assumed to be less efficient and inferior to the males and therefore they are not given the serious duties in the society. Through this class, a better understanding will be brought about concerning the female gender and the issues they face in the competitive environment with the male gender. There are those issues that it will take years to be solved but there are those that can be changed at a faster rated. It is up to the society to make an effort as whole in order to change the outcomes (Moran, 2013).
