These policies under the current administration are widely being questioned by the Americans and others alike. Journalists and scientists are constantly trying to figure out the future policy doctrines and their impact it will have on the current administration of America.

Most of the American citizens believe that the nations should first solve its difficulties and let other countries deal with theirs effectively as they can but can intervene in case the problems supersede them. The belief that has been carried on from earlier times in the US generation that is ‘America first doctrine’ has also a profound impact on the future of America’s foreign policy. The current president’s personality can be used as a predictor of his foreign policies. He wishes to adopt an isolationist foreign policy agenda which looms danger to other nations.

The president of the US asserts that the country has used most of its resources in solving the world’s problems, but this will change in his tenure and focus more on home. These strategies will be based on current trends to shape the future foreign policies. They will include pushing for a global economy reform, changing the security scene in the country, the private sector development and revolutionizing America’s energy.

Security has been among the top priorities that the current administration is concerned. Especially the American military interventions in other countries and also rendering international treaties as obsolete. The president had also brought panic among traders especially when it was alleged that the North American Free Trade Agreement is pledged for negotiations. Also, threats to other countries regarding tariffs impositions to competitor countries goods like China.

Foreign policies should be based on strategic frameworks should uphold international standards aimed at development.
