Genetics
Genealogical research has shown distinct patterns of behavior that go across generations. This means that humans are genetically predisposed to behave in a certain manner similar to their ancestors. For instance, an individual may follow a career path similar to the one followed by their forefathers. Also, if the men in a certain lineage used to marry at a later age in their life or used to wait till they were older to have children, the modern males in the lineage may be predisposed to behave similarly. Some of the behavior patterns of our ancestors ensured their survival in the ancient world they lived in, but the same behavior may be a challenge if practiced in the modern world. The economic, social and political setup in the era of our ancestors is quite different from the era we are living in today. For instance, the population pressure has increased and has caused a strain on the available resources to sustain life. It was acceptable to our ancestors to practice polygamy and have huge families with many children, but the same would not be prudent in the modern world. The development of technology, economic and political changes among other changes in the modern society render some behavior patterns of our ancestors problematic in our lives today.
Human Diversity
Differences are prevalent across cultures, genders and socioeconomic status of individuals within a society. The human race is widespread across the world, and different people occupy different environmental setups. The factors within different environments lead to the differences. However, some similarities are rife across these cultures. For instance, every society in the world has three socioeconomic classes. The high, middle and low levels are used to describe different individuals within a society. The classes are based on the economic status of individuals. The rich and wealthy are socially regarded as superior to the poor. Also, the parents have the vital role of guiding, instructing and advising their children. The elderly are regarded to be final authority across most cultures. Nature controls the similarities. For instance, it is natural that the parents are regarded to be superior to their children. The animals in the wild also show similar regard where the young ones show respect and obey the parents. Similarly, the mighty and superior members of any given species are naturally considered to belong to a high social class.

Boy-Girl Friendships
Friendships among children especially between boys and girls are not very common. A study conducted across several countries revealed that in a school set up, the boys and girls tend to play separately with each gender preferring to play on their own. However, the Boy-Girl friendships were prevalent back at home due to factors such as the two being neighbors or their families being friends. Such friendships may last for some time, but as the two develop into a young man and woman, that friendship may fade away as the two make new friends. The new friendships may last for a long time, and some may even lead to marriage. Boy-Girl friendships are therefore temporary and may fade as they mature and their brains develop.
