Illegal immigration is one of the common situations in many nations. This is mainly in the developed countries. Individuals tend to migrate into such countries with the aim of getting jobs. This makes many of them engage in most of the unlawly ways to get in the countries. Illegal immigration has various problems which come as a result of itself; hence the need for its resolution through critical examination of the problem.

Immigration being a global issue has its roots. Poverty is one of the leading causes of the illegal immigration. Many of the people living in poverty tend to imagine that, some countries have job opportunities that can secure them. This makes them try all means to get themselves into those countries. Armed conflict is also a root of the illegal immigration. War is a situation that is feared by any individual due to its causes like loss of life and properties (One America with justice for all, n.d). This case will make people within the affected nation to migrate to a peaceful country to seek protection.

Globalization is also another factor that leads to illegal immigration. Most of the advances in communication and transport technology have made the world small. This has enabled everyone to have the opportunity of moving around for various reasons. As a result of the movement, people can weigh which of the countries have the best technology, and they tend to maintain their stay where it is the best. Trade treaties and organizations have also influenced the migration. Many of the people who engage in businesses under treaties can move around from one country to another. As a result, they tend to settle where they reap more. Such organizations include NAFTA within the Northern America and the CAFTA in the Central American (One America with justice for all, n.d).

Illegal immigration can be resolved accordingly by the affected nation under an implementation plan. Economic immigrants mainly move from their particular countries in such of job opportunities. Governments of such nations should be able to expand employment opportunities both in the urban and rural areas. In the implementation plan, there must be documentation of various sources of job opportunities which can include establishing industries and proper allocation of resources in the industry (One America with justice for all, n.d).

Wars in countries with a high number of refugees in other countries should be minimized. These particular nations should be able to reduce political and individual conflicts. This should be implemented through the creation of social awareness and empowerment of the youth by encouraging them to maintain peace and harmony amongst themselves. Globalization among neighboring countries should be preserved. Both transport and communication technology should be advanced at the same rate so as to impede residents from migrating to other countries in search of the best opportunities. This should be implemented through proper comparison of various technology trends across countries and come up with the best technology. Furthermore, the best should be made common among the countries (One America with justice for all, n.d).

Illegal immigration is a global issue that should be looked at keenly. Different nations should be able to establish the root-cause of illegal immigration and suggest the best solutions of curbing the menace. These solutions should be based on economic, social and political matters. Moreover, the resolutions should be implemented under a strict plan that is documented.
