Poverty is said to be associated with the lazy people. This statement has a somewhat degree of truthfulness. However, some people in our society today are not poor because of laziness. We may say that they are poor under the circumstances they find themselves in. For instance, when land is grabbed from your deceased father, this potentially poses a challenge for one to become weak. Many people in our society today tend to believe that this is true. One, however, has to find a way of getting out of this trap. Circumstances should not be an excuse for one to remain weak. Many would shift blame and say that they are poor simply because the circumstances in which they find themselves in. (Crowley & Litcher, 2002). This cynical notion has made the poor people remain seated in their comfort zone comfortably. They tend to believe that that is what has led to their misery in life. Little do you find these people who have this negative notion striving to find their way out of poverty.

Many would say that poverty is as a result of the little that people do. (Crowley & Litcher, 2002). The big question that arises out of that is that how much should one work to get out of poverty? The argument that results is that many people in the world today do work tirelessly hard but yet languish in poverty. For instance, the masonry, hawkers, and cart pullers wake up very early in the morning to prepare their jobs in the scorching sun every single day. This kind of people works tirelessly hard to make ends meet. Surprisingly, most these people are still held in the jargons of poverty. Researchers to date still ask what might be the problem? Mainly, failing to plan is planning to fail. These people do get enough money that if well planned they can move from one social class to the other comfortably. Planning becomes one of their biggest nightmares, and this is why these people still languish in poverty.

When people think that poverty is out of circumstances of misfortune, it tends to be comfortable with themselves. They do little about hard work to see that they are step forwards towards bidding bye to poverty. For instance, there will be reduced labor force in areas such as the farms and industries where these people are supposed to engage themselves in making ends meet. When poverty comes out of poor planning, the service delivery becomes directly affected. When one is well planned, he/she becomes motivated to work even harder and achieve much more. Therefore, without proper planning to overcome poverty, workers become less motivated to make more.

To avoid the scenario where one languishes in poverty due to the notion of the circumstances they find themselves in, practical examples of people who have been successful out of poverty must be provided. These people will need to be convinced that it is possible for one to be out of poverty despite their circumstances. Moreover, proper planning lessons on how to spend the money earned efficiently can also be introduced. (NCPA, 2009). These will enable the people who are languishing in poverty yet working for long hours to plan appropriately for the money expenditure. Consequently, as positive results become noticeable, these people become motivated to work more and therefore improving on the services delivery.
