The first significant symptom that I have experienced recently involves the feeling of emptiness. Emptiness concerns a feeling that results from disconnection with other people and with God. Emptiness is a painful emotion that affects an individual's perception towards other people and life in general (Freeman & Dodson, 2014). The second symptom that I have experienced is panic that results from anxieties that concern different aspects of life. Panic involves overpowering frights and attacks that that arises from lack of having stable bonds between individuals in a given relationship. To overcome the mentioned symptoms, I intend to implement various strategies that may help in dealing with the symptoms. The first significant strategy that may help in dealing with the symptoms involves establishing a proper relationship with God to help in dealing the feeling of emptiness through the provision of hope and assurance of God’s love. The second strategy involves focusing on self-love which a critical factor in that helps in personal acceptance.
