This corporation has a functional organizational structure. A functional organizational structure refers to a system of administration, which interprets relations based on an area of functionality or specialty. In essence, as one of several other reporting structures within a company, the functional organizational structure defines the reporting relationships; in other words, who works for whom. Companies select their structures through the consideration of an assortment of factors that include company size, number of products and services offered, geographic distribution, among others. As such, Aerodyn Finance’s structure relates to the functions within it. In addition, other observable characteristics among its competitors are also present within the structure of this firm, however, at a diminished and less significant rate. Within the organizational structure of Aerodyn Finance, national hierarchy, national centralization, and minimal regional divisions are highly imperative. These three are at the helm of company activities and define not only the executive roles but also operational directives within the organization. As a fundamental part, national hierarchy plays a central role in ensuring command and compliance are maintained across all divisions, resulting in productivity and subsequently, profitability. Thus, as an organizational structure, these three approaches are elemental even in organizational theories and behaviors.

Global hierarchy is the most significant structure of Aerodyn Finance. A global hierarchy represents a corporate structure that is stable and reliable, especially among companies that have an international presence. It involves the creation of functional offices or teams that oversee national operations (Berry, 2004). Within the organizational structure of Aerodyn Finance, there are significant functional offices that perform different kinds of works. Such duties are held in offices that have a high influence on company operations and success. In Aerodyn Finance, these offices include the office of the chairperson, the vice-chairman, the board of directors, acting directors, and an overall director. The board of directors entails various categories that are significant for the success of the company. The directors are responsible for various dockets and programs such as the initiation of social impact initiatives that focus on financial success and security. The organization is also able to create various programs out of the comprehensiveness of its structure. Thus, through having a national hierarchy, Aerodyn Finance is able to execute its functions efficiently with minimal interference.

In its structure, Aerodyn Finance also uses national centralization and multidimensional approaches to effect proper administration among its worldwide subsidiaries. Global centralization places emphasis on controlling the entire organization through the making of decisions that have a direct impact on teams and groups. In the case of Aerodyn Finance, the headquarter offices of its national hierarchy represent the company’s central control and headquarters. From this, the company is able to exert its centralization policies. Furthermore, the company does not maintain an autonomous nature in its other offices. Contrary to this, most decisions fall on the headquarters. This structure displays the centrality of the organizational structure for Aerodyn Finance. In addition, as part of the company structure, minimal regional divisions are used. The use of this attribute focuses on divisional extent within Aerodyn Finance’s business. Using minimal divisions, the company is able to put into effect various strategies and marketing campaigns. Moreover, the organization of financial reports and records becomes uncomplicated. As such, the organizational structure of this corporation is highly centralized and specialized.

Structure’s Impact on Effectiveness

Taking a multidimensional approach, organizational structures can be designed in a way that members will know how to act, what attitudes to promote, and their desires to attain support for development. This organizational structure enables working relationships within organizational sub-units. Moreover, through the stabilization of an applicable structure, the relationship between the work process and the productivity of labor is enabled. Organizational performance largely depends on its structure, as such, the development of clear pictures is essential, especially in terms of people performance and productivity. Effectiveness is normally achieved when clear structures exist; therefore, structure affects company performance on a large scale. In the case of Aerodyne Finance, findings reveal that when a clear picture is known people tend to perform effectively. The aforementioned structure facilitates efficient communications within global subsidiaries. Therefore, its impact on the performance of organizations is highly effective. To ensure proper effect on structure, management should ensure proper implementation of company policies and objectives. Therefore, the recommendation of the management should be the critical analysis of efficiency and effectiveness through proper structures set with the implementation of set goals.

The major benefit this type of structure accords to Aerodyn Finance is the effectiveness in controlling national operations. Since the company is a national brand, a structure that capitalizes on national hierarchies is essential for the survival of the company. Another advantage is the ease at which this structure avails the implementation of new policies throughout the entire organization. Using national hierarchies, organizational behaviors are attuned to accept implementations and upgrades through a strict and formal hierarchy, which represents all participatory subsidiaries globally. Moreover, the use of regional divisions not just for analysis and financial reporting, but also for future implementation of tactics and strategies within the financial industry, is essential. These advantages have enabled and empowered Aerodyn Finance to implement its organizational structure for international growth and success further. On the other hand, this corporate structure does not lack disadvantages. The first derailment to this structure is its rigidity, which limits proper adjustment to the organization. Here, a good example is that national centralization as a structural characteristic impedes the ability of foreign offices to handle issues experienced in their regional locales. Such impediments result to the delayed actualization of countermeasures, commensurately resulting in failures and profit truncations. To address this relevant issue, Aerodyn Finance needs to reform its organizational structure to bring about increased autonomy levels among overseas offices.

Summary

Organizational structure is of utmost imperativeness in the quest to realize company objectives and missions. Central to this drive are organizational theories and behaviors that attune individuals to company desires. Through intense organizational learning and the modeling of social systems, organizational structures can be tested objectively to reflect their relevance within company cultures. Ultimately, applicable organizational structures depend on intricate learning and converging initiatives such as personal mastery, systems thinking and mental models and shared vision. The ability to master all four and subsequently implement them in strategies that make organizational structures is integral to the success of any organization. In addition, a comprehension of organizational theories and their functions of scrutinizing entire organizations is also elemental in structuring organizations according to their nature. Therefore, Aerodyn Finance should consider its organizational structure and work to give more autonomy and decentralization to essential offices within its ranks (Bashir, 2015).
