Youths worldwide take up the highest percentage of potential voters, which has an impact on influencing decision-making and social change. Registration for voting also disadvantages them because of requirements such as addresses linked to voting, given that most of them are mobile. Culture is also a factor to consider when analyzing factors associated with low turnouts of youths. Negative attitudes have increasingly discouraged more youths from voting. Besides, politicians have not created platforms where they can take up the initiative to encourage voting. The power to spark change in politics is in the hands of youths because they take up the most significant number of voters.
