There are a lot of things that spaces can tell about people. The colors people love or the kind of colors of clothes they wear, the space they live in and the level of cleanliness people prefer can say a lot about them.

For instance, psychology dictates that people who have black as their favorite color tend to be artistic and are often sensitive. Such people are extroverts and tend to be careful about the personal details they share with other people. Those who love white are more organized and tend to be logical with how they think and do their things. Finally, those who love blue love harmony and are more reliable. Lovers of blue mind think about the welfare of other people more often (Cherry, 2019) . These colors can be used to tell whether a person is neat or not and, hence, gives one a clue about how organized the spaces inhabited by different individuals are.

The level of cleanliness can also be used to judge one’s character and state of mind. For instance, people with messy rooms tend to have a poor state of mental health. This applies to people who are used to be organized and then become messy all over sudden. If one is known to be tidy and begins to become messy all over sudden, then the previous knowledge of the person indicates that there is something wrong going on in the person’s life. Clean spaces are a sign that its occupants are organized and like to have their lives planned out. Even though we consciously try not to judge others by the type of spaces they live in, our minds subconsciously judge people by the level of cleanliness of their spaces. For instance, if you walked into a renowned English professor’s office and find it cluttered, your subconscious mind will definitely lower the level of respect you have for the professor.
