In the event an accused person is injured badly when perpetrating a crime against a victim, he/she is entitled to medical assistance from the intervening party, such as the policy or medical team. However, this does not mean that his/her rights are more important than those of the victim. Moreover, under the Bill of Rights, all persons are entitled to the same level of treatment under the law. Additionally, this is despite the unethical or criminal perpetrations that might have been performed by the accused person against the victim. As such, it is plausible to state that there is no single time when the rights of the accused individual should surpass the rights of the victim. Also, this is because the accused should also enjoy the right to have a speedy and public court trial and also be well informed on the nature of the crime he/she is accused to have committed.

Naturally, an individual would feel bad for having witnessed his/her relative being victimized by an accused.
