Teachers need to form at least five simple personal habits such as enjoy teaching, strive to make a difference in students’ lives, always be positive, be reflective and form relationships. It is my opinion that of utmost importance to realize that these roles can only be enforced when all stakeholders are actively involved. Even though children spend the majority of their time in school, technological advances at home cannot be ignored. Curriculums at schools need to be constantly reviewed to try and ensure that teachers are not the ones playing catch up to students. There needs to be a balance between that which a student can acquire at home is not equal to that of the school environment, these need rather compliment one another to develop students even further.
