The seven dimensions of health are all very crucial. The dimensions entail much more than just the physical health, nutrition and exercise. The seven dimensions of health comprise of spiritual health, physical, social, environmental, emotional, occupational and intellectual health. When determining a variety of conditions in the body, the term wellness may be used . Wellness can refer to the physical, environmental, occupational, intellectual, mental, and the spiritual well-being of a person. The seven dimensions of health help in the determination of an individual’s full quality of life.

All the seven dimensions of health may be considered as equally important. Each aspect of health is a cornerstone that plays a vital role in a person's well-being. For instance, physical wellness implies that the body needs to be kept in a top condition. Intellectual wellness allows one to participate in activities that present them with the opportunity to share their gifts and also expand their knowledge. Emotional wellness is focused on the need to for a person to pay attention to his or her feelings, thoughts and behavior. Social wellness refers to the ability of a person to freely interact with other people and also the capacity to develop good rapports with others. Occupational wellness entails capacity to manage one's relationship with co-workers and finding peace between work and leisure time. The environment of a person may have an impact on the feelings about his or her overall health.

As illustrated above, all the seven dimensions have very critical impacts on the wellness of an individual. None of the dimensions is less or more important in the life of a person than the others. Personally, I agree that the dimensions of health are equally significant in determining a person' well-being.
