One of the truths that resonated with me is grace. This is so because regardless of who one is and what they do, they are treated equally by God (Lamott, 2017). It cannot be bought, nor can it be sold, yet God extends it to all regardless of their power, age or relevance in society. Due to this grace, things fall in place, in some cases without us putting much effort to achieve what we want. Another truth on the list that resonated with me is that God means goodness (Lamott, 2017). This is true because the goodness of God is manifested in his creation. Besides, nature presents possibly all answers about different questions that one has. By looking above and believing in a being that has power beyond that of any individual, it is possible to understand why things are how they are. Because God is good, he made it possible for individuals to get answers to all problems, regardless of whether they have to look up to him for help. Another truth is that almost everything will work again if unplugged for a few minutes (Lamott, 2017). When systems are broken, or an individual cannot take it anymore, there is a need to step aside, take a deep breath and return to the drawing board knowing what to do and what not. Doing this not only rejuvenates an individual, but it ensures better strategies that are well thought out. With such an approach, almost everything will work again.
One of the truths I know for sure is nature taking its course. One cannot control what is to happen to them next. It is a matter beyond one’s strategies and plans. Things fall in place because nature allows such. Number two is love. True love for something or someone is not always reciprocated. Regardless, it does not fade. Number 3 is peace of mind is indefinite. Regardless of the habits one adopts to remain calm and wade off anxiety; there are always situations that could disturb that peace of mind. There is no specific state that could be achieved because of the changing situations around a person.
