In this article, the key argument is that despite the developments that have taken place in the technology mostly among the manufacturing industries in the world, it cannot be a wise idea to separate such development from their incorporation in the business context. Therefore, the critical lesson is that despite the developments that have been on the rise in technology among different manufacturing firms, strategic management has been vital in absorbing such technologies to ensure that they are effectively adopted and used to benefit the companies. 

The article's case defines the typical steps that companies can take to integrate technology into a manufacturing system fully and what employees should do to ensure successful adaptations. From such steps, the lesson I learned is that there is a need for interconnectedness between different fields because such interconnections lead to more innovation and a better system of management and technology development. It is evident from the article that the success of the advanced manufacturing technology (AMT) closely links to the field of management companies. It is because management sets a better strategic plan for adaptation and the utilization of such machines to their full potential.
