The aim of this paper is to discuss various factors causing type 2 diabetes.

Statistics :According to the report of CDC, as of the year 2015, 30.3 million individuals in America suffered from diabetes, furthermore, 84.1 million suffered from pre-diabetes a situation that could promote type 2 diabetes.

Type 2 diabetes majorly different from type 1 diabetes since it is connected with insulin resistance whereby produced insulin is either inadequate for body demands or cells are resilient to it. Dietary factors : Dietary factors are some of the major causes of type 2 diabetes; this can be connected to access of fast food by people. High animal fats and protein in foods from fast food outlets causes the increase of type diabetes among people.
Environmental and lifestyle factors: Environmental and lifestyle factors have also been identified as causes of diabetes type 2 in majorly through sedentary lifestyle; this is the habitual adaptation to a particular life such as changing to the consumption of fast food which promotes obesity as a result of high animal protein.
