This article looks at the meaning of taking a knee and its implication when athletes take part in this activity during the current reigns of President Donald Trump. The article attempts to bring out the meaning and the implication of "taking the knee" by the National Football League players during the singing of the National Anthem from a different perspective as held by the current president of the United States. This perspective looks at this act as something that perpetrates disrespect to the United States as a country.
