There is always something fascinating about artwork notably images of statues. The fascination can be escalated when the statue is about a respectable figure and is placed right across the street you. This is the kind of fascination I have been experiencing as a result of a beautiful statue image placed across the streets near a Pentecostal church. The fascination is not only drawn from the beauty of the statue but also from the kind of artistic styles that skills that has been put on the work. I am always moved by the beauty of the image. Every time I pass across the streets it is a motivation to me just from the hard work that was placed by the maker of the art work. I tend to visualize all the days that the person took to complete the image, the struggle to get the materials, the skills he tried in order to get things right and the trials and error that did not work. Sometimes I stand across the streets and tell myself that nothing is impossible. It just takes a little hard work.
Furthermore, the image has a deep spiritual connection that sometimes acts as stress reliever. A hectic day or a stressful is worth taking to the statue for a marvelous and beautiful view. The air and the atmosphere around the place is also freshening adding to the beautiful scenario. Given a chance to change any aspect of this stimuli, I would change so that it is not responsive to just one type of faith. The kind of feelings or emotional reactions that the stimuli has on me is likely not to be the same with a person of different faith. In a bid to change the effects of environment in my life I would encourage myself to always have a broader perspective of everything life affiliated with my environment and not have a narrowed perspective.
