Community relationships imperative to effective policing in various ways. Foremost, the relationship is vital in creating and developing trust between the community and the police and this way the police are able to conduct their work more effectively. Secondly, the community needs to appreciate the work of the police and through that they can be able to give information regarding their security and crimes. Lastly, the police are safe when they have the local community members having positive thoughts about them and that improves policing (Frühling, 2012). 

An administration of a criminal justice organization is made easier with positive community partnerships because the community may be having evidence on some criminal activities which is needed for the pursuit of justice. (Getty, 2016). The community plays a vital role in giving information necessary for cases of criminal activities and suspects are well known to the community in which they live making it easy for law enforcers to get the correct information about these people

Team Policing-this is the grouping of people in the community and selecting leaders who communicate with the law enforcement department to maintain law and order. The program is vital in generating information about criminal activities and profiling people and their characteristics. This program has been successful in fighting drug barons in various states. 

Police Youth programs-this program engages the youth in the community to boost their welfare and avoid victimization. The program also is used in policing because it brings the youth closer to law enforcers and they can provide vital information for law enforcement. The program has recorded success in helping the youth avoid crime in their localities. 

Community Police Programs- this is the use of vigilantes within the community who alert the law enforcers of different crimes. The community members are vigilant and can note any unusual activities and report to the police. 

Citizen Police Academy-this is where the normal citizens are taken through programs which make them relate better with the police. Through this the police are respected and given the necessary support in their work. There are levels of success that this program has earned the law enforcers since they can easily collaborate with the community in pursuit of justice.
