The three smart people I know are my close friend, my younger sibling and a classmate. I view them to be smart because of their academic intelligence. All three have always done exemplary in their studies throughout our interactions. My younger sibling always brings home top grades for all his exams and he is always top of his class. Similarly, my close friend always has good grades at the end of every semester and she further engages in other innovative activities that set her apart from the rest. My classmate is also smart judging from her class performance and overall interactions during class time. She always records good grades and will have impressive class presentations. I believe that they are all innately smart but certain unique aspects can be recognized in their intelligence levels.

My sibling and my close friend both exhibit logical-mathematical intelligence. Gardner identifies such individuals as those who are good at numbers, can analyze problems logically identify relationships; recognize patterns and much more ( Liu, Zou & Deng, 2019) . My close friend is good with conducting scientific experiments and innovations while my brother is excellent with numbers and he has severally expressed his love for mathematics. He can accomplish mathematical tasks that are beyond his class and will explain these with a high level of intelligence. My classmate always has good grades too but their uniqueness is presented through visual-spatial and linguistic-verbal intelligence. Gardner identifies such individuals as those who enjoy reading and writing, are good at visual arts, good at interpreting charts and graphs and can easily recognize patterns. They also explain things well, are eloquent, good at giving persuasive speeches and much more ( Liu, Zou & Deng, 2019) . My classmate is generally excellent at any form of presentation and is always commended for presenting good charts and videos. She is also highly eloquent and it is always interesting listening to her while she presents in class. It is clear that even when the three individuals demonstrate academic intelligence as shown by their grades; they have individual aspects that make their intelligence unique to a certain extent.
