Why are you interested in a career with military or national intelligence organizations or a career that employs intelligence disciplines?
I am interested in a career that involves a military or national intelligence because it provides opportunities that enable an individual to learn important skills and build good character. When training as military personnel, one can learn basic skills such as time management, teamwork, leadership, and perseverance that play a critical role in determining an individual's career success. Furthermore, after basic military training, a person is provided with Advanced Individual Training specific to the job, thus playing a critical role in future career success. In the military career, people benefit from additional opportunities from training and further studies on leadership seminars to various courses in an accredited university related to a personal specific job. Apart from training and education opportunities, one can also benefit from teamwork and management skills that are important in any job. After retiring from the military, one can also fit into the civilian job market. Pursuing a career in the military not only provides skills and good character but also opens opportunities to improve the life of an individual.

What aspect of your intelligence-related coursework would be of greatest value to the intelligence community (military intelligence, strategic intelligence, law enforcement, homeland security, etc.) and why?
I believe homeland security is of greatest value to the intelligence community because it plays a critical role in protecting the nation from all forms of threats ranging from emergency response, cybersecurity, and counter-terrorism. Homeland security works together with the intelligence community to ensure security around the borders and address the issues concerning illegal migrations, drug trafficking, smuggling, and preventing illegal weapons entry into the country. Together with the homeland, the intelligence community can gather and disseminate intelligence information that plays a critical role in preparing and mitigating damage from various security threats across the country. Homeland security can also work hand in hand with the intelligence community to coordinate responses to natural and man-made disasters and provide necessary support to the victims. Homeland security is therefore of greatest value to the intelligence community since they can work together for general security within the country.
What role do you see yourself playing in the intelligence or law enforcement community, such as analysis, collection management, targeting, operations (human intelligence collector), or others?
In the intelligence community, I would wish to play the role of human intelligence collector because I am passionate about enhancing the security within the country by collecting and understanding more about the actions of potential enemies. By playing the key role of human intelligence collector, I will provide vital information concerning enemy strengths and weaknesses and potential battle areas through screening human intelligence resources and documents. The post will also enable me to participate in human intelligence operations and analyze and prepare intelligence reports that ensure improved security across the country. With my experience in several languages, working as a human intelligence collector will enable me to perform translations of foreign materials that contain capture enemy information into English, enabling the department to understand and use data effectively in promoting security.
