The primary human right violated, amongst others raised in the Racial Disparities Video, is that of accessing healthcare. In the US, people of color and immigrants face many hurdles to get affordable healthcare. It seems the cultural, social and even historical factors have combined to form a formidable wall of problems for the said minorities to access healthcare. Second to health is access to job and schooling opportunities, accessing good job/leadership opportunities outweighing its schooling counterpart. The two are related as without good schooling, it is difficult or would be impossible to gain good leadership or even job positions in the US.
The principal instrument used to undercut the issue of unequal healthcare access is promoting the view of equality and non-discrimination amongst healthcare professionals and institutions. The healthcare industry/medicine, in general, has long been a non-discriminatory discipline. It is held as a core belief in the medical field, which irrespective of race, language or sexual orientation, all humanity is to have access to quality healthcare. The structural interventions initiated have seen a lot of databases remove the field of race. This eliminates the likelihood of racial discrimination not only about access to healthcare but also banking and scholarship opportunities.

In my view, there should be uniformity across the healthcare sector, brought by how much one pays for a health cover, not their race. Thus if a Native American pays a sum for healthcare, an African American or Latin American that pays the same amount gets the same service. One such implementation is the WHO organization’s access to vaccination and aid response about a disease outbreak. The Equal response granted to all countries the WHO affiliates to, without discrimination of level of development. E.g., developed or developing a level of the state.
