Graduating from high school was my all-time dream, just like it is anticipation for every person who attended high school. After graduation, I had much joy knowing that now I have moved to a new life milestone, which meant a lot. That was because too much had to change in my life. Changes included how my parents treated me and how I handled situations in life, which at a great feeling but scary again. After all, what I thought my life could be after graduation is different from the direction it has taken. Being a 2020 graduate, many issues, including the pandemic, have struck me hard that all plans had to change in respect to that. Life after high school can be scary, adventurous, confusing, stressful, fair and at the time, turns out better than you could have imagined.
Having graduated in 2020 posed a significant challenge to me because I had planned on how I could join college and pursue my dreams, usually like any it has been for others. Unfortunately, the pandemic onset changed everything and held the world at a stand-still where even the schools had to close and wait so that the raging pandemic could be analyzed and solutions found on how to deal with it. I was unsure about the future but still had plans for the future, which kept me moving. Due to technological advancement, I could now apply for a college online and always study, but that was not what I wanted. I had plans to apply for a college far from home, and by that, I could gain the freedom and privacy had always wished for away from my parent just like any of you could want to not because the parents are wrong, but that is the teenager life. The virtual classes were not favorable to me because I was not a quick learner, and paying attention became problematic. I could finish the session without having grabbed a thing, which made my studies so challenging.

I expected that life could be fun with all the freedom and not being subjected to high school rules like I was a kid, but I was all wrong. The pandemic killed all that because now I had to spend time not just a day or two but months just sited home with my parents and siblings. It has been challenging because my parents were not used to spending their days home, even on regular occasions. Life did not seem enjoyable because we could be spending with my friends enjoying freedom after high school as a teenager. Hence, life turned out to be so stressful because none of my expectations or plans fell into place, and I had to be around my parents, who breathed down my neck all day through the lockdown period. Life was confusing because nobody could tell what would happen; next, most businesses closed schools shaken by the pandemic. I was so uncertain of what the future held that it left me anticipating better days.
Conclusively, life after high school graduation has been an up task because it has been a life filled with uncertainty about what could happen next, the stress of when things could resume normalcy, and living my dream. Being a slow learner also gave me hiccups because the virtual classes were not what I expected. I looked forward to the conventional courses. Life after graduation has not been easy for me.
