In a technology-rich environment, teachers need to change with changes in technology because advancements in technology will lead to changes in the students learning needs ( Raja & Nagasubramani, 2018). As a teacher, I will need to advance my knowledge by use of the available technological advancements in my teaching environments. Availability of technology exposes students with a lot of basic knowledge, so as a teacher, I have to go on an extra mile to study more. For effective learning, I will use instructional (ID) design to choose the best form of technology that will help me deliver to my students effectively. ID involves observing and controlling the leaner and the environment surrounding to improve on learning outcomes.
A place rich in technology tends to make students depend much on the technologies for acquiring information ( Raja & Nagasubramani, 2018). Students equip themselves with much theoretical work but have no idea on how to apply that in real-life situations. A student should start conducting field research that will help them gain the ability to deal with teamwork's, uncertainty, independence and organizational skills. At times it can be difficult for the schools to adopt new technologies in the learning process, causing a need for an innovative way like influencing the mindset of students. The actions of a teacher will impact the mood students will have towards learning. Teachers should not think that adapting to technology is complex.

An assessment by the teacher of how students are cooperating to the new technology advancements should be conducted. For data collection, by use of computer software like MS Word, I will develop an online-based questionnaire that can be sent to students via e-mails. After filling the questions, the students should resend for data analysis. 21 st technological skills like technology literacy, are fundamental to the learning environment. As a teacher, I need to apply my computer skills to help my students learn how to operate computers ( Raja, & Nagasubramani, 2018). Use of computers in learning will help student’s access broad and diverse knowledge in their curriculum.
The school environment is diverse and a teacher does not only interact with the students only but also other people like parents, directors and the non-teaching staff. A teacher needs to be equipped with diverse knowledge and should have good work ethics that will help them work in unity and make learning efficient. There are professional attributes like integrity, mutual respect and responsibility, sense of hope for your students and continuous self-learning that a teacher should possess to support the student learning process.

Knowing the use of modern technology can be of an added advantage to a teacher. When a teacher has skills in using modern forms of technologies like the use of e-mails, WhatsApp video calls and use of other social media platforms, it gives them confidence. A teacher can communicate to school stakeholders efficiently by the use of digital media because they are well conversant with the help of modern communication tools. Acquiring knowledge in the use of modern technology is crucial to a teacher because it equips them with more experience that makes them be involved in analyzing and decision-making process. Continuous knowledge of modern technology is beneficial to a teacher because it results to professional improvement and growth. The confidence gained from possessing considerable skills by a teacher makes them know the importance of learning; thus, the teacher forms an initiative that involves the community and the school stakeholders to provide learning resources for students.
