Part 1: Abortion Rights
The subject of abortion rights is one of the most controversial topics in the world today. The reason behind this is that everyone has a different opinion about what should or should not be done. Nonetheless, individual rights that focus on liberty, the pursuit of happiness, and right to life triumph all, which is why women should be allowed to make this decision (Rebouché, 2016). Consequently, women should have the freedom to choose whether to terminate the pregnancy because, for one, it is their bodies, and they know what is best for them. The age of the mother is also a determinant because if she is too young and is incapable of raising the child, abortion should be provided as an option (Rebouché, 2016). Additionally, if the woman conceived after a rape, she should have the freedom to abort. She should not feel burdened to raise a child she did not plan for since it will always remind her of that ordeal.
