An alien primarily refers to extraterrestrial beings that do not have their origin in the earth. This paper seeks to apply a monster theory in a bid to understand the life of these creatures called aliens (Paxson, 2014). Human beings have tried their level best to understand aliens by using different arts such as movies and also writing of different kinds of novels, the essay will look at the theory using a popular film called who goes there, as discussed below.
Basically, there is a higher probability which asserts that alien life exists. One of the theories says that there must be something that is barring human beings from communicating with alien species in the outer world, and the barrier is known as the great filter (Luque, 2014). This is a force known for being a barrier of the communication.

Another theory asserts that the civilization of aliens actually exists only that they are not active. This theory states that aliens must be hibernating until the conditions of the environment in the earth are just right for them to appear and build their super society. According to the popular movie, Who Goes There, characters are at the last minute changed into aliens. The script comprises of both human and non human characters, the antagonist non human character, the shape shifting alien, appears to be having all the adaptations. In one adaption it appears to be a monstrous alien which seems to be made up of a vegetable matter and being unable to shape shift. In another adaptation, the alien appears to have retained the ability to shape shift although it goes on to lose its telepathy.
From Who Goes There movie, by John Campbell, there is an astounding science fiction that comes out trying to explain the theory of aliens. From the movie, an alien spaceship is discovered in the Antarctica Sea deeply buried in sea, an alien pilot is discovered and later revived, and the alien pilot revives its memories, shape, and also its personality. Unknown to its discoverers, the alien immediately attacks them leaving them to dead (Cabrol, 2016). The discovery crew now knows that everything is not okay and they have to save the entire humanity by not allowing the alien to come out of the ship. The researchers try their best in figuring out who may have been replaced by the alien but the attempt is difficult and impossible because they realize that the alien is actually telepathic, in that it was able to read their minds and know the thoughts they think.
In the analysis of aliens, researchers have found out that aliens have their own history. The aliens have their own body chemistry; they do not look like humans. From Who Goes There, the theory of objection comes out clearly in the bid of understanding aliens. It is believed that aliens may have visited the earth; there could be possible places in the earth that these aliens may be hiding. According to science, human are limited by the level of technology available in travel to far ends of the world therefore becoming difficult to ascertain the presence of aliens.
In conclusion, alien life exists; they are creatures different from human beings and are able to transform themselves. From the movie Who Goes There, we find that the alien was able to shape shift from one particular shape to another in a bid to escape from its discoverers.
