Based on what you have learned about bullying, describe the difference in bullying behavior between girls and boys

There are significant differences between female and male bullying, which are essential issues to identify for successful detection of bullying. Bullying is more common in males than females. While male bullying is often likely to be physical, female bullying tends to affect them psychologically and verbally. Male bullying holds a significant influence from the boy code, which is defined by various social aspects as powerful, athletic, dominant, macho, and independent. By embracing these characteristics, boys believe to be escaping feminist and wimpy considerations. On the other hand, girls' bullying is often indirect and difficult to spot since they usually use relational aggression through verbal assaults, rumors, gossiping, and ostracizing.

What are some of the emotional consequences of being bullied? 

Bullying is often associated with the isolation of both the victim of the act and the bully, leading to loneliness. Lonely victims of bullying find difficulty internalizing problems causing them to develop anxiety and depression (Hutson, 2018). Also, some students are bullied because of the body appearance or aspects of family backgrounds, causing them to feel inferior, worthless, and low self-esteem. Furthermore, some school instructors over believe in their investigation techniques during the reporting process, ending up punishing the victim of bullying. This act causes the worst emotional feelings to the victim; aggressiveness and deadly desperation. 

What specific suggestions do you have to teach children non-aggressive ways of solving problems? 

One of the most important lessons to teach children on non-aggressive ways of solving conflict is their counterparts' emotional condition. Here, children should embrace the simple realization that whenever their counterparts disapprove of their ideas, it does not always mean they will never approve of them (Chen et al., 2019). Sometimes, all they need is a peaceful time, and after internalizing those ideas, they get a sense of it. Another thing children need to know is that disagreements and conflicts don't damage or jeopardize a relationship. Another lesson is instilling the sense of family-hood and teammate qualities and how to manage one's emotions.
