The FBI currently has one of the most elaborate recruitment processes in the industry. In comparison to other organizations, candidates required to fill various positions within this government institution are expected to exhibit high levels of integrity and ethical culture in addition to other skills. The main aim of the task force, however, is to offer protection to the people of the United States. Recently, owing to the advancement in the field of information and technology, a number of benefits as well as shortcomings have arisen. The emergence of challenges owing to cybercrime has necessitated the establishment of a special cybercrime task force within the FBI. This has been instrumental in increasing the number of available opportunities. Owing to this, there has been a constant increase in the demand for candidates that are well adapted in dealing with such kind of crime. Various rights and responsibilities of public servants and government authority will be demonstrated in this analysis. Further still, a viable explanation will be offered pertaining to the impact of the salient points in recognizing the rights and responsibilities of public servants. 

The main obligation of the Federal Bureau of Investigation is to offer protection to American citizens, whether within or outside the country, based upon its mission to protect the people as well as uphold the constitution. The cybercrime division is currently one of the most active departments owing to the growing rate of cybercrimes within the United States. In this case, the FBI seeks to offer protection to individuals through this unit. Some of the rights of public servants in the cybercrime division of this government institution include: entitlement to equal and fair treatment, receiving benefits in time, travelling allowances and federal health and insurance packages.

Increased cases of hacking have recently been reported in the United States. It has been observed that a number of financial institutions and other organizations have incurred huge losses owing to the increase in the number of cybercrimes. Ordinary citizens have also not been spared and recent reports indicate that the highly acclaimed technology in the financial system has turned to become insecure. In essence hacking has turned out to be a cash cow for the most competitive hackers across the world. Due to the high incidences of hacking, the cyber-crimes division of the FBI is working effortlessly in a bid to combat all cyber related crimes within the United States. 

Ideally, the recruitment process in the Cyber-crimes division involves a complex process. One has to undergo a number of tests including an intelligence and fitness test. In addition to this, the FBI is focused on employing the most knowledgeable individuals in the field of technology and other related disciplines such as forensic science. In the recruitment process, it is also possible that the bureau will move around seeking information about a particular candidate from close family and friends, as well as the community around. At times the process takes very long to an extent that some of the candidates give up and seek alternative means. In this case the bureau may end up losing some prospective candidates who are best suited for the job, which is something that ought to be taken into consideration. 

In addition to the aforementioned premise, employees in this special crimes unit are tasked with various duties and responsibilities. The workers have a duty to protect the country against cybercrime. They are also tasked with the duty of protecting the U.S from intelligence operations instigated by foreign countries. These employees also have to come up with ways of upgrading the available technology with an intention of fulfilling the organization`s mission. Gathering intelligence regarding planned crime is also one of the FBI`s main mission. 

One of the salient points in the recognition of the rights of employees within the FBI is justice and fairness. The organization is committed to offering specialized treatment in all manner of equity and fairness to its employees. This is one of the ways that the crime fighting unit recognizes employees` rights. Such recognition along with others is likely to impact on the work done by the employees. For instance, it has the potential of motivating the workers to perform better. In addition to this, recognition helps in fostering loyalty among employees. Alternatively, there is more job satisfaction owing to recognition. In this case, the employee learns to focus on other issues rather than complaining. Further still, it has been reputed to foster team work among the employees. 

In order to deal with internet crime and other related complaints, the FBI has an internet reporting center where all crimes pertaining to cyber-attacks are reported and investigations initiated to try and establish the source as well as apprehending the offenders. In the Bureau`s special report regarding next generation cyber initiative, it is apparent that the organization is not bound to take any chances. Individuals who are highly qualified in the technology world. The FBI is seeking to hire computer scientists with the ability to discern any security breaches undertaken via computer and related software. In addition to this, a lot of funds have channeled towards fighting cyber-crime in addition to the most recent software currently in use at the Federal Bureau of Investigation. The FBI has also moved to partner with other private entities in a bid to put an end to cyber-crimes. Such institutions have the necessary funding and infrastructure that is needed in dealing with high tech issues. The Key Partnership Engagement Unit is an example of a private organization that has partnered with the FBI in a bid to deal with numerous incidences of online crime. 

The above examples offer a clear illustration of the rights and responsibilities of public servants; in this case, individuals working for the FBI cybercrime division. On the other hand, the impact of various salient points in recognizing the rights and responsibilities of the employees has also been addressed. It is apparent that employees are entitled to fair and just treatment. In addition to this, they are also entitled to various benefit packages. Employees are also expected to fulfill their duties in combatting crime in order for them to be entitled to such treatment. Constant acknowledgement of such rights and responsibilities is bound to reap significant benefits for the organization and help in fostering their crime fighting initiative. It is hence apparent that without recognition of employees, any organization is bound to fail.
